Service-process execution & case management
Runs the approved service process accurately on routine requests and knows when to ask for guidance.
In this journey
- Distinguishes between starting a request correctly (logging it on receipt with a case number given to the customer, then classifying it by the approved guide) and handling it straight away before logging it, even if it takes one minute, and explains the effect of each on following up the case.
- In a practical situation, puts the intake steps of a routine request in the right order: log the request and give the customer the case number, then ask two or three targeted questions to complete what is missing, then classify it by the approved guide before handling it.
- In a service situation, chooses the right wording to tell the customer the next step and its expected time, with the timing taken from the published service level rather than wishful thinking.
- Distinguishes between a case that is ready to close, one where the employee verified the resolution with the customer and recorded the reason for closure, and a case closed quickly before verification, whose customer then returns with the same request.
