Service standards & SLAs
Applies the approved service standards and time limits reliably to routine transactions and requests, and refers unclear cases to the supervisor.
In this journey
- On receiving a routine request, classifies its type, records in the system the time limit the service-standards guide sets for it, then tells the customer the expected duration and the notification channel, and records this in the case log.
- Distinguishes between a justified clock-stop, recorded with its reason, stop date and restart date and communicated to the customer, and an undocumented stop that hides a breach from the reports.
- In a work scenario where a request is nearing its time limit, decides to escalate it before the limit expires to the party named in the approved escalation matrix, and refers the case to the supervisor when it is unclear.
- Distinguishes between closing a request in the system before its time limit expires and actually meeting the standard: closes a request only after checking that it meets its defined quality standard and that the customer has been notified of the outcome.
